We have been spending the Christmas holidays up on the Mendo Coast now since 1999. This is the first year at Sea & River and it was a lovely experience. The cottage is spectacularly placed on a bluff overlooking crashing waves and rocky outcrops -- the view cannot be beat. Peter and Molly were very easy to work with in terms of securing the dates, what to expect upon arrival and departure, and other useful information. The cottage is quite cozy and warm, and very suitable for couples and families! The location is quite nice as well -- very close to the town of Mendocino and a short drive to many fabulous and friendly wineries. While the kitchen is more than adequate for cooking your own meals, there is a plethora of many fabulous restaurants nearby as well. The Mendo Coast is a special place in and of itself -- the Sea & River property is a great one to choose for your next getaway!
